FREE CONCERT hosted by The Forest and the Sea,
One way we are seeking to spread Good News, Encouragement and Hope is by hosting nights of Great Music, Celebration, and Community.
Saturday, August 28th, 6pm: A Night of Great Bluegrass, Good Desserts, Ice-Cold Lemonade, and Fresh Roasted Coffee.
Our first Backyard (House) Concert will be Saturday, August 28th, beginning at 6pm. We are very thankful to have "Jenkins Hollow", a local Bluegrass Band with us again. They did an in-house concert for us many years ago at the Cottage and they are well worth the drive for those of you not in Simpsonville.
This concert is FREE to all but feel free to express your thanks by dropping a few bucks in the Mason Jar for the band.
We will also be taking donations of Musical Instruments to be sent to "Instruments of Joy", a group of folks committed to spread the Joy of the Lord around the world by providing children in hard places restored musical instruments. (We will share more details about "Instruments of Joy" in a few days.
And YES, if you are looking for some Coffee to take home, we will have our Fresh Roasted Coffee available for purchase at the show.
